It all started with a 10-year-old Talisker Single Malt over 20 years ago. Many hundreds of whiskies followed at tastings, trade shows and on trips.
And the enthusiasm for the variety of aromas and flavors continues to grow. There is still so much to discover. There is a "Malt of the Moment" for every situation, for every mood, for a wonderful moment of pleasure.
And I look forward to helping others discover it - and perhaps sharing some of my passion with them.

I know Scotland - the land and the people. On numerous trips to Scotland, I have been able to visit many wonderful places and more than 50 distilleries - the country where the raw materials come from, the production processes and, above all, the people who are so dedicated to their work. Many wonderful conversations led to a deeper understanding of thecountry - and the whiskies and their flavors.
But I've also been to distilleries in Ireland, the U.S.A. and Germany, including the new ones, the startups, that were happy to share their ideas.

Experience and enthusiasm are important, but with the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) certified diploma training at the Edinburgh Whisky Academy (EWA) for Scotch Single Malt and the Art of Whisky Tasting with theoretical and practical elements, I have laid additionally a solid foundation.
